### Features of Brainstem Glioma<\/p>\n

Gliomas are tumors that occur in the brain, and brainstem gliomas specifically grow from a type of cell called “astrocytes.” <\/p>\n

Many brainstem gliomas are malignant, meaning they can grow and spread aggressively.<\/p>\n

The symptoms of this disease can vary depending on the size and location of the tumor, but common signs include:<\/p>\n

– Headaches<\/p>\n

– Nausea and vomiting<\/p>\n

– Weakness in the arms or legs<\/p>\n

– Difficulties with speech<\/p>\n

3. Diagnosis: <\/p>\n

Diagnosing a brainstem glioma typically involves an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan, which provides detailed images of the brain, allowing doctors to see the tumor’s position and size.<\/p>\n
