僕は明日、
骨肉腫の手術を受ける
夜の病室
誰もいない室内に
同級生のみんなと居る
僕の姿が見えた
僕の頬に
涙がこぼれ落ちた
僕の中の寂しさが、その映像を写し出した。
ありたい理想と、目の前の現実が分かりやすく
区切られていた。
僕は現実世界にいる。
理想の映像を見て、「僕は本当はそこに居たんだよ。」
と、叫ぶ。
しかし、踠こうが、叫ぼうが、現実が入れ替わることはなかった。
ボジティブな思考に切り替わることも、結局は
できなかった。
僕はこのまま、この現実の辛い世界にいるしかないのだろうか。
頭をめぐる思考は、何万回も繰り返した。

Tomorrow I’ll have surgery for osteosarcoma.
A night in the hospital room —
in the empty space I saw myself standing with all my classmates.
Tears slipped down my cheek.
The loneliness inside me projected that image.
My ideal and the reality before me were clearly
separated.
I was in the real world.
I looked at the vision of that ideal and wanted to shout, “I was really there.”
But no matter how I struggled or shouted, reality didn’t change.
I couldn’t force myself into positive thinking either.
Will I have to remain in this painful reality forever?
Those thoughts spun in my head, repeating themselves tens of thousands of times.
